When visibility is reduced by fog
Riders are required to switch on fog lamps when visibility drops below 50 meters, which enhances safety during dense fog.
When nearing a railway crossing without barriers
Without barriers, motorcyclists must approach cautiously, slow down, and visually check for trains before crossing.
If using headphones while riding
There is no official ban on headphone use, but it is discouraged due to the safety risk of limiting awareness of sirens, horns, and traffic.
When riding near heavy trucks
Motorcyclists must not ride beside or close behind heavy vehicles, as blind spots may prevent truck drivers from seeing them.
Are motorcycles required to carry reflective vests
Carrying or wearing a reflective vest is not mandatory, but is strongly advised to improve visibility, especially at night.
When approaching a school zone
Riders must slow down and watch for children or school buses, as school zones often have strict speed limits and higher pedestrian activity.
Are motorcycles allowed to use bus lanes
Motorcycles may not use bus lanes unless specifically allowed by a posted sign indicating permitted vehicle types.
When encountering slippery surfaces
On slick roads, riders should decelerate and avoid sharp braking or turns, which could cause skidding.
